Palm Princess

I have always believed pink and green complement each other very well (it is the Palm Beach old lady in me). Somedays (most days) I love to be super girly. The tennis-esq pleated skirt is my new wardrobe essential and is adorable with the summery tweed jacket. I feel like a grown up Eloise.

Outfit Inspiration: Tan Skirt

This outfit inspiration started with a very similar outfit, but it transformed into something a little different. I decided what I really liked about this outfit was the tan skirt. I decided a chambray shirt would look perfect with this skirt. I would definitely wear simple jewelry with this if I was wearing a turban style headband because you don't want the look to become overwhelming. What do you think?

Peplum

Peplum (it's the style of the top, also comes in all sleeve lengths) is great because it is really flattering on most people and it can go with jeans, dress pants, shorts, and in some cases even skirts. The studs on the Valentino purse and shoes make the outfit really edgy. I had a hard time deciding between nude and black for the shoes and bag because I think both pair really well. What do you think?
